So then using a relative path, the engine would be looking for something like c:\temp\images and that would obviously fail. So, how to get out of this quagmire; Use the Special Field "File Path and Name" in the formula. This will retrieve the actual path of the report (plus the name of the report).

However, when a report is called, the images at the top of the report don't show, IE: the "export", "save" images, etc. also, Images embeded on the actual report itself show fine. If you host your Crystal Report on a remote server, you need to contact your hosting provider to check the CR version, assemblies installed on the server.
