If you have changed the filter (assuming it is a large one) it will take many start attempts to prime (not bleed) the fuel as the solenoid dosing pump only moves very little diesel with each pulse. As Webasto dealers we use a tool which pulses voltage to the pump in order to prime it. What you are experiencing is perfectly normal. WebYour bunk heater will run off the batteries even if you aren't on shore power. You should be able to look at the control panel or know for the bunk heater and it tell you the brand name. You could always take a picture and post the link for the picture. The most common brands are Espar and Webasto. transporter1980.

Checked the 5 amp and 30 amp fuses in fuse panel. Bunk blower motor works. Doesn't matter what position I place the fan speed switch. Took the front cover off the dash to reveal the blower motor, but can't even tell how to remove it. Pretty compactly installed.
