During my parents' divorce, it was my duty to help raise my younger brothers (2 and 6 years younger,) mind the house, etc. Except I had no idea what to do and of course, since I was the "girl" they "didn't have to listen to me". I'd bust my ass trying to keep them out of trouble but nothing. We're on better terms now.
