WebFeb 21, 2024 · Hello I just bought the delock enclosure 42600 in order to install inside my new Samsung m.2 SSD 970 EVO and use data migration software to transfer my laptop data in it and after that replace an existing one inside the laptop. I did the procedure connected the enclosure to my laptop via USB-C(Thunderbolt 3) but it does not recognize it. WebThe same SSD worked on a similar but couple years older build. As far as I've researched, the SSD is compatible with the build. SSD in Question: SAMSUNG 870 EVO SATA III. PC Specs -. OS: Windows 11. CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core, 32-Thread. GPU: MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 24GB. Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk.

WebAug 21, 2015 · So when you say do a sector by sector clone from say drive 0 (C) to drive 2 (SSD) then the clone takes place regardless of the fact you are running a new version of Windows or using a USB to SATA controller that is not supported by the Samsung software. Just make sure you choose the right disks (don't erase your C drive with a blank SSD!)
