I see it every time I remove the dipstick or oil fill cap on my engine (especially the Chevrolet 350), always have, no real cause for concern. You are seeing what the PCV system removes from the crankcase when the engine is running.

Web25 Jul 2016 · Blue - well blue smoke can indicate oil getting burnt but if it only last 2mins then again I wouldn't worry to much I reckon you have worn valve guides, overnight the worn guides will drop oil into the combustion chamber which will burn off on start up, just keep an eye on the oil level.
